I used to read the manga version of Asu No Yoichi long before I discovered to love ru.back in 200whatever, Asu No Yoichi was my to love ru of that era and it might even be possible that Asu No Yoichi helped me discover TLR. The manga version of Yoichi has more fanservice compared to the anime and it's longer. Basically think of Asu no Yoichi as To Love Ru meets Ranma 1/2
