Highschool of the Dead feedback journal

Hello everyone, this is spiralmaestro here and as part of the new year comes a new journal, recently I bought a new volume of Highschool of the Dead or HOTD which happens to be volume 5 which was the volume I needed to add to a HOTD collection I currently own 
Anyway I wanted ask my watchers as well as non watchers what you like or don't like about the HOTD series. My reasons for doing this is I'm planning to draw some HOTD art as well as some crossover ideas with the HOTD series in the future and I'd like to everyone's feedback about the series. Any kind of information as to how you got into the series in the first place or why you dropped the series or why you are still fans or not anymore is much appreciated. If you have a favorite HOTD character please tell me why they are your favorite as well if you wish. Thank you for taking the time to read this journal of mine.
